ACEL National Conference 2024 ‘VR system Prize Draw’ Terms and Conditions

1. BACKGROUND

a. ICAS Assessments is wholly owned by Janison Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 35 081 897 494) of Bay 5-7 North, 2 Locomotive Street, Eveleigh NSW 2015 Australia (Janison)

b. This prize draw (Competition) is organised by Janison Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 35 081 897 494).

c. To participate in the Competition, you must satisfy these Terms and Conditions.

d. In participating in this Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

e. Janison reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone who is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.

2. VR SYSTEM PRIZE DRAW DETAILS

a. The Competition will begin at 8:00am ACST on Monday 30 September 2024 and will close at 11:00am ACST on Wednesday 2 October 2024 (Competition Duration).

b. The winner will receive a VR system to the value of AUD $599 (Prize).

c. The Prize will be drawn at 11:10am ACST on Wednesday 2 October 2024 (Drawing Time) at the ACEL National Conference 2024 (Conference).

d. The winner must be available to collect their Prize from the ICAS Assessments stand between 11:10am – 2:30pm ACST on Wednesday 2 October 2024. If the winner is not able to collect the Prize at the specified time, Janison will make reasonable alternative arrangements to deliver the Prize.

3. ELIGIBILITY

a. The Competition is open to all attendees at the Conference.

b. To be eligible to participate, you must:
i. Be over 18 years of age;
ii. Be residing in Australia; and
iii. Have completed and submitted the online form associated with this Competition.

c. In participating, you must provide us with your full name, email address, mobile phone number, school name, state and the Janison Assessments product/s you are interested in.

d. Only one entry is permitted per person.

e. Any submissions made after the closing time will not be considered for the draw.

4. THE DRAW

a. One winner will be drawn at random by Janison at the Drawing Time.

b. If the winner drawn does not meet the eligibility criteria of these Terms and Conditions, a new winner will be drawn to replace the original winner.

c. Janison reserves the right to choose a new winner if Janison reasonably believes that the winner is under the age of 18 and no proof is presented to show otherwise.

d. Janison will notify the winner of their prize using the email address and mobile phone number entered into the online form, at 11:10am ACST on Wednesday 2 October 2024.

e. The winner must collect their prize in accordance with clause 2(d) above.

f. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash.

g. If the Prize becomes unavailable during the Competition Duration, Janison reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of similar value.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

a. To the extent that the law permits, Janison will not be liable or responsible for any loss suffered by a participant except where Janison has acted in negligence.

6. PRIVACY

a. In holding information about you for the purposes of this Competition, Janison acknowledges the importance of keeping your personal information confidential and will adhere to the privacy rules set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

b. Your personal information will be processed by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy, that you can view at: janison.com/privacy-policy

c. The winner of the Prize consents to having their photograph taken and agrees that we may promote the image on ICAS and/or Janison social media channels.

7. COMMUNICATION

a. All our communication with you will be through the contact details you provided to us when completing the online form associated with this Competition.

b. By Entering in this Competition, you agree to allow Janison to contact you for the purposes of:
i. Sharing information about Janison Products and Services (including but not limited to ICAS Assessments and AAS); and;
ii. Providing you with promotional materials (marketing) about the Janison suite of products.

8. GENERAL

a. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us and you with respect to the Competition.

b. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. You and we both agree that the courts in South Australia, Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction.
